Scott A. Mayer represents corporate clients in a wide range of traditional labor issues including union organizing, advice and litigation under the National Labor Relations Act, management training, collective bargaining, grievance administration, and labor arbitration. Scott also has experience in many areas of employment law including defending employment discrimination and wrongful discharge claims, drafting employee handbooks and personnel policies, and counseling employers on issues affecting the employment relationship.
Scott is the Philadelphia Regional Co-Chair of the Committee on Practice and Procedure under the National Labor Relations Act, and regularly speaks at CLEs, trainings and other seminars on labor relations topics.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Scott was in-house labor counsel for a Fortune 200 company.
Outside of his practice, Scott serves as a member of the Garnet Valley School Board in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania.
