Sarah Stock works with clients across a wide range of sectors including media, insurance, finance, pharmaceutical, infrastructure and construction. Sarah has experience acting on contentious and non-contentious employment matters including disciplinary, grievance and discrimination issues, executive arrivals and departures, redundancies, and on employment aspects of corporate transactions. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Sarah trained and practiced on qualification in employment law at another international law firm.
Managing a global restructuring exercise, by instructing and liaising with foreign counsel, and preparing advice for the client in a clear manner.
Providing corporate support and advice on mergers and acquisitions, including advising on due diligence, disclosure, drafting and advising on the employment provisions of commercial documentation.
Advising on redundancy exercises, including providing advice throughout the redundancy process, drafting documentation to facilitate the process, drafting and negotiating settlement agreements.
Advising on the appointment of senior executives, including drafting executive service agreements with complex bonus and share incentive provisions.
Providing advice to HR clients on a variety of issues, including disciplinary and grievances, redundancy, and maternity leave.
Defending a discrimination and unfair dismissal claim, including drafting legal pleadings, witness statements and representing client at preliminary hearing.
