Tara Luise Bhupathi

Tara L. Bhupathi joins us from the US Patent & Trademark Office, where she gained extensive knowledge in trademark prosecution and clearance including appeals before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Tara counsels clients through brand strategy, prosecution, registration and maintenance issues across a wide variety of industries. She is particularly interested in the application of intellectual property laws in technology and sports. While at the USPTO, Tara also spent time as an Adjunct Professor for DePaul University College of Law, teaching a Trademark Legal Drafting Advanced Writing course. Tara is admitted in New York only, and her practice is supervised by DC Bar members.
