N. Tasmin Din advises both public and private companies on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions for financial and strategic buyers, venture financing (representing entrepreneurs and investors), securities law compliance, and corporate governance issues. Tasmin has a strong background working with startups and technology, financial services and insurance companies with a focus on software as well as fintech companies. Her experience also includes corporate matters for entrepreneurs in the life sciences sector. In addition, her background includes presentations related to corporate topics such as angel and venture financing as well as impact investing.
Extended Profile
Tasmin is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law and Tufts University School of Medicine in the JD/MPH Program. As a student, she was active with the Medical-Legal Partnership for Children at Tufts Medical Center, the International Law Society, the American Civil Liberties Union, and was a co-coordinator of the Student Global Aids Campaign.
After the first year of law school, Tasmin served as a judicial intern for Judge Raymond J. Brassard of the Superior Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and also for Judge Judith Fabricant in the Business Litigation Session. As a law student, Tasmin also served as a legal fellow at the Private Sector Engagement Unit of Oxfam-America and spent a summer as a legal intern in Phnom Penh with the Victims Unit of the United Nations Assistance Mission to the Khmer Rouge Trials in Cambodia.
