Timothy Cummings focuses on regulatory matters involving investment advisers, broker-dealers, investment companies, mutual funds, and a variety of transactional matters involving private investment funds. He assists clients with securities law issues, ongoing compliance, filings and registration matters, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Tim clerked for Judge William S. Stickman IV of the US District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
While attending American University Washington College of Law, Tim was the associate managing editor of the American University Law Review. He also participated in the Moot Court Honor Society and was a member of the Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong. Before law school, Tim was a Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School and a middle school science and math teacher.
