James B. Vinson

Client Services Manager

James B. Vinson is the client services manager for the eData Practice.In this role, Mr. Vinson specializes in the support of and delivery of technology-based services to clients for whom the eData Practice Group serves as national discovery counsel. Mr. Vinson and the Client Services team are responsible for coordination and support of discovery work between Morgan Lewis's corporate clients, the eData PG and other law firms. These services are supported by the Client Services team who Mr. Vinson manages, providing both operational and strategic oversight.

Mr. Vinson has worked in the legal industry for 12 years. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, he worked for an AMLAW 100 firm as a paralegal and document clerk, where he focused on complex litigation services. At Morgan Lewis, Mr. Vinson worked as a paralegal in the Labor and Employment Practice prior to transitioning to a role in the eData Practice as a project manager. As a member of the eData Practice, Mr. Vinson served as a technology Project Manager and Regional Manager prior to his current role as Client Services Manager. Mr. Vinson has extensive working knowledge of eDiscovery best practices and regularly consults with clients on discovery issues.

Mr. Vinson received his B.A. with a double-concentration in history and government from the College of William & Mary in 2001.
