With a Ph.D. and fluency in three languages, Valentina Semenikhina advises Russian and international companies on mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and capital markets matters. Valentina, whose clients have included startups as well as large retail companies and banks located around the globe, advises on multijurisdictional mergers and joint ventures, private equity investments, and securities offerings. Valentina also handles corporate governance matters and due diligence.
Valentina represents clients from a variety of industries, including banking, private equity, investment funds, energy, media and telecommunications, electronics, chemicals, and others.
A native Russian speaker who is also fluent in English and German, she has written and co-written a number of articles on civil law issues, competition law, and environmental law. Before joining the firm, Valentina worked as an associate in the corporate practice of another international law firm, resident in Moscow.
She is vice chair of Morgan Lewis’s Moscow Pro Bono Committee.
