Zhengwei “Kevin” Yang's experience focuses on compliance and regulatory issues, including compliance investigations, business practice and compliance policy reviews, and communication with government officials on regulatory matters. Kevin also advises multinational companies on intellectual property matters, risk management, antitrust, and competition law. He is fluent in Mandarin, Shanghainese, and English.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Kevin worked in other international law firms in Shanghai, where he gained experience in compliance monitoring investigations, and dispute resolution matters regarding issues of foreign and domestic investment, antibribery and anticorruption, corporate governance, security trading, unfair competition, antitrust, real estate and construction, trademark, and patent licensing. He also worked with Fortune 500 enterprises, financial institutions, property developers, hotel managements, and multinational listed companies.
