Morgan Lewis has launched its Qualified Plan Opinion Program (QPOP). The program was developed in response to the void left by the discontinuance of the Internal Revenue Service’s five-year cycle retirement plan tax qualification determination letter program. Under the QPOP, we will offer opinions as to whether retirement plans satisfy current tax qualification requirements in form (i.e., the terms of the plan document).
