Jason W. Jason has particular experience in asset management transactions and private company M&A, including buyouts, acquisitions and sales of investment advisory businesses, minority and strategic investments, joint ventures, reorganizations, succession and liquidity transactions, equity financings, GP- and sponsor-led strategic transactions, continuation vehicles, GP stakes-style transactions, and other complex transactions involving investment management platforms.

Jason represents registered investment advisers seeking to acquire, sell, or invest in other advisory businesses, as well as founders and sellers of investment management firms evaluating strategic combinations, succession alternatives, minority investments, and liquidity opportunities. Drawing on market knowledge, transaction experience, and close coordination with regulatory, tax, employment, executive compensation, intellectual property, real estate, and commercial specialists, Jason helps clients navigate the legal, business, and execution issues that frequently arise in asset management transactions.
