Scott Lee focuses his practice on tax controversy and planning, with an emphasis on defending taxpayers against the Internal Revenue Service in disputes and litigation. Scott's experience spans the business lifecycle and also includes planning, structuring, and negotiating the tax aspects of complex transactions. During law school, Scott served as a judicial extern to Judge Juan F. Vasquez of the US Tax Court. Previously, Scott was a Certified Public Accountant specializing in investment funds and financial instruments.
Scott received Georgetown University Law Center’s Sewall Key Prize, awarded to the graduating student with the best record in tax law. Prior to his career in tax, he was a legal analyst at a global disputes and investigations law firm in New York.
