NLRB Poised for Quick Action With New Republican Member, Law360
10. August 2026Partner John Ring was quoted by Law360 in an article about how the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) could move quickly to revisit precedent following the confirmation of a third Republican member.
John, who previously served as chairman of the NLRB, noted that Chairman James Murphy’s longstanding experience at the board could help the new majority draft and revise decisions. “He has written and unwritten a lot of these issues before, so he’s very familiar with the issues,” John said. John also addressed the role of the board’s minority member in the decision-making process, noting that opportunities to respond would likely be subject to established timelines.
