The firm’s Houston office has been chosen to receive Tahirih Justice Center's Law Firm of the Year Award.

Tahirih, one of the most well-respected legal services organizations in the United States, works to serve immigrant women and girls fleeing gender-based violence. Morgan Lewis has worked with Tahirih in nearly every aspect of its practice.

The firm’s Houston lawyers were honored for helping pro bono clients referred by the organization with U visas and T visas, as well as representation in cases such as one involving a woman who was trafficked into prostitution as a teenager and who sought restitution from the individual who ran a string of Houston brothels profiting from the abuse.
