Litigation Powerhouse

Morgan Lewis Among Elite in Law360 Litigation Powerhouse List
Morgan Lewis has been included in the top ten of an elite list of law firms in Law360’s inaugural list of Litigation Powerhouses released in July.

The firm was recognized in part for a series of complex and challenging representations, including high-profile, cutting-edge trial and appellate court victories across an array of practice areas, including class actions, securities, intellectual property, insurance, tax, finance, and labor and employment/ERISA.

“We are proud to receive this accolade reflecting the strength of our litigation practice,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “The combination of our substantive expertise and trial experience is a differentiator for our firm, and we appreciate that our clients have recognized that in turning to us for their significant litigation problems. Our track record and relentless focus on outstanding client service distinguish our trial teams.”

The Litigation Powerhouses were chosen by examining the size of the firm's litigation teams and their victories netted between March 1, 2015 and March 1, 2016. Law360 editors also weighed the nature of the victories the teams scored for clients at trial, on appeal, or in pretrial dismissals over the past year, and eyed the new matters clients have tapped the firm to handle in recent months, choosing the firms that consistently leveraged a deep bench into outstanding wins.

“We are pleased to be recognized as an elite Litigation Powerhouse,” said J. Gordon Cooney, Jr., head of the firm’s litigation practice. “It is a testament to the collective talent and expanded depth and breadth of our capabilities, and it reflects core advantages we bring to our clients, including our focus on solving business and legal challenges across multifaceted and complex situations, as well as distinguished courtroom advocacy results.”
