100th Anniversary of Women's Right to Vote–New York

February 25, 2020
6:00 pm | Reception
7:00 pm | Keynote Speaker

Morgan Lewis is proud to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and women getting the right to vote. Please join us for a reception featuring the American Bar Association’s traveling exhibit, 100 Years After the 19th Amendment: Their Legacy, and Our Future, a freestanding exhibit featuring historic photos and artifacts detailing the story of the battle for ratification and outlining the challenges that remain.

Following the reception, we will hear from Page Gardner, founder and president of the Voter Participation Center, a research-driven, nonprofit, and nonpartisan organization dedicated to increasing the participation of historically underrepresented groups in our democracy. Ms. Gardner will discuss her organization’s efforts to increase voter registration, voter turnout, and awareness for the upcoming election.

All are welcome to attend.
