12th Annual PIPG Symposium – Streaming as Disruptive Technology: Changing Media and Its Impact on Copyright Law

Intellectual property associate Rachel Fertig will participate on the “Future Considerations in Streaming Technology” panel, which will provide a forward-looking discussion on how recent legislative and shifting media consumption habits and industry trends will impact future technology, creative expression, and available copyright protection. The symposium is presented by the Penn Intellectual Property Group (PIPG) at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

The focus of this year’s symposium is to explore key issues surrounding the effect of internet streaming and copyright law. It will also examine how the technology will continue to affect the landscape of IP protection.
