Morgan Lewis partner Julius Turman will present in conjunction with EEOC Commissioners Chai Feldblum and Victoria A. Lipnic on the topic of "The ADA Amendments Act Regulations: Understanding the EEOC Regulations."

U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commissioners Chai Feldblum and Victoria A. Lipnic along with panelists Julius Turman and Michael Subit will explain all the key features of the EEOC's brand new regulations implementing the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act.  This CLE will focus on how to apply the new regulations including:

  • Provisions on types of impairments that should easily be concluded to be substantially limiting
  • When and how to consider "condition, manner, or duration"
  • The scope of the "transitory and minor" defense to "regarded as" coverage, indicating key examples
