Morgan Lewis' partner Georgia Bullitt will present "An Overview of Security-Based Swaps" at the FIA Law & Compliance Seminar
This session will provide a high-level overview of the impact of Dodd-Frank on security-based swaps. The panel will also discuss issues relating to joint or conflicting SEC and CFTC jurisdiction, including in the context of mixed swaps and credit market products. The panel will highlight areas where SEC rulemaking for security-based swaps appear to differ from CFTC rulemaking with respect to swaps and compliance issues related to dealer structure, governance and internal oversight.
