Morgan Lewis partner Katie McDermott will speak at Seton Hall Law School's Healthcare Compliance Certification Program on "Being the Focus of a Government Investigation" with James Sheehan, Medicaid Inspector General for New York. Maureen Ruane, US Attorney, District of New Jersey; and John Krayniak of the New Jersey Medicaid Fraud Control Unit; Ms. McDermott will also make a presentation on "Government, Industry and Health Profession Compliance Guidance: Welcome to the Era of Ethics and Transparency" at this program.
Seton Hall Law School's Health Care Compliance Program is a week long certification program for compliance professionals and lawyers in the pharmaceutical and device industries addresses the myriad of legal and regulatory issues and the expanding and ever-changing body of law and developments that impact health industry compliance programs. Ms. McDermott is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney and DOJ Health Care Fraud Coordinator who represents the health industry in government enforcement and compliance matters.
