Euromoney Seminars’ 5th Annual Syndicated Loans Russia & CIS Conference

The Syndicated Loans Russia & CIS Conference is the largest gathering of the Russian and international syndicated loans community to explore opportunities and developments in syndicated lending.

Business and Finance partner Bruce Johnston will chair the first day of the conference and moderate the "Banks Panel: Is the Russian and CIS debt market different from the rest of Europe?"

The panel will look at:

  • A look at the future strategies of Russian banks:Will they continue to expand outside of Russia
  • Is the Russian loan market over-reliant on state banks?
  • Long-term cost of funding for Russian banks: Is inflation draining liquidity and increasing funding costs?
  • Is the Russian market more geared towards bi-lateral rouble denominated loans?
  • Spotlight on CIS: Is the region back on the radar for lenders? How are the dynamics different between the Russian and CIS market?
  • Generating a relationship model in the CIS

Associate Michaela Schmiederova will moderate "The role of multilaterals and ECAs as a critical source of liquidity in the region," and Business and Finance partner Yulia Cherkassova and associates Alexander Gasparyan and Liya Grishaeva will also be in attendance.
