DOL and IRS Investigations and the Soon-to-be-Extinct 5-Year Remedial Amendment Cycles
This session will provide guidance on what to expect and how to respond to a DOL request for information and follow-up investigation; from an IRS audit and request for information; and amendments from IRS Agents in the determination letter process. Presenters will share recent experiences with the DOL and IRS. This session will also provide insight into the scaled-back determination letter program and what it means for ESOP sponsors.
