Alex Reid, a partner in our Washington, DC office, was a speaker at the 21st annual Western Conference on Tax Exempt Organizations, held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles from November 30–December 1.
In two separate sessions, Alex discussed the current legal and regulatory environment for nonprofits, and he also provided a broader update on the state of tax reform.
The two-day conference offered more than 12 sessions on critical tax developments impacting charities and nonprofit organizations, with panelists from the Internal Revenue Service, the US Department of the Treasury, and legal tax-exempt experts.
