AUTM 2017 Western Region Meeting

IP partner Todd Esker moderated the “Life Science Industry Panel: Rising to the Challenge of an Aging Population” at the Association of University Technology Managers’ 2017 Western Region Meeting, a three-day meeting aimed to deliver diverse programs for technology transfer newcomers and veterans alike.

Todd’s panel will be on October 12 and will address the following topics:

• Unique challenges exist in developing therapies for an aging population
• Unmet needs in medical care for older patients
• Trends in drug development for the aging population
• Areas of research companies are looking into to treat diseases that affect older people
• Therapeutic modalities companies are avoiding in this space
