TEI-SJSU 33rd Annual High Tech Tax Institute

Tax partners Bart Bassett and Josh Brady recently presented on various topics at the 33rd Annual TEI-SJSU High Tech Tax Institute, held November 13–14 in Palo Alto, CA.

Josh provided a domestic and multistate update, discussing developments relevant to high-tech companies, including depreciation and research credit changes, as well as California update and key guidance. He also discussed nexus, sourcing, apportionment, and other areas to watch at the state and multistate levels.

Bart spoke on supply-chain planning and discussed location and distribution decisions affected by tax considerations including BEPS, Brexit, US tax reform, and state and local tax rules.
