PLI's Expert Witness Seminar 2018

Antitrust partner Stacey Anne Mahoney and Litigation partner Brian Herman will speak at PLI’s Expert Witness 2018 Conference. The conference will be led by experienced litigators and expert witnesses and will focus on furthering the education of attorneys on the daunting task of searching for, retaining, using, and examining expert witnesses.

As chairman for the Practicing Law Institute, Brian will begin the conference with opening remarks and provide an overview of the program. Key topics will include: preparing for and defending against a Daubert hearing, selecting the right expert for a case, and mastering direct and cross examination of experts at trial. Stacey’s presentation, titled “Expert Disclosures, Depositions and the Expert’s Perspective,” will discuss matters such as retained versus non-retained experts, expert reports, and Rule 26 disclosure requirements.
