Corporate and healthcare partner Sameer Mohan will present at the 2018 Texas Health Law Conference, an annual event provided by the Health Law Section of the State Bar of Texas featuring two days of CLE programs from national and regional health law attorneys who work in the healthcare sector.
Sameer’s presentation, “The Rising Impact of Private Equity in Healthcare M&A Transactions”, will examine the increasing role of private equity investment in the healthcare industry, including acquisition of physician practices and various strategic healthcare businesses. Sameer will discuss why private equity firms are keen to invest in the healthcare space in the current economic climate, which healthcare specialties are driving interest, what are their long-term objectives and strategies and what legal and other issues do healthcare providers need to be considering if they plan to sell or venture with private equity.
Sameer's presentation will take place on Monday, October 8, from 11:15 am to 12:00 pm.
