2019 NHPCO Leadership and Advocacy Conference

Formerly known as the Management and Leadership Conference, the 2019 National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Leadership and Advocacy Conference will continue to provide executive leadership and management at all levels of hospice and palliative care a platform to unite, interact, and focus on timely issues. Over the course of the conference, participants will identify strategies to respond to changes in the regulatory and health policy landscapes, explore compliance concerns, discuss innovative approaches to improve access to care and promote the benefits of hospice and palliative care.

Healthcare practice leader Howard Young along with Sue Murrin from the Office of Inspector General (OIG), US Department of Health and Human Services will discuss OIG hospice priorities and provide tips on how to respond and prepare for increased government regulatory and enforcement scrutiny. The panel will meet on Tuesday, April 16, from 10:45 am – 12:00 pm.
