The course will start with an introduction to the array of concepts we call AI, follow with a history of its development and adoption generally and then specifically in the legal profession – from its early adoption to current state to where we think it is headed. The first hour concludes with a discussion of what the future might be like for lawyers in a profession fully invested in AI, setting the table for a conversation about the unsettled moral and ethical considerations the use of AI raises for lawyers and their clients.
