The 2019 PLAC conference is taking place in New Orleans on May 1-3. PLAC (formerly the Product Liability Advisory Council) is a not-for-profit association of manufacturing, hardware and software-related entities, suppliers, retailers and select regulatory, litigation and appellate professionals who work to shape the common law of product liability and complex regulation, provide guidance on changing regulations, and strategically help corporations manage risk throughout the entire product lifecycle.
John will present on the most up to date case law on federal preemption during the conference on May 2 at 11:30 AM. He’ll address federal preemption issues on drugs, devices, nutritional supplements, and airplanes.
