Morgan Lewis finance associate Christopher Melendez will speak at the Boston Bar Association's Servicemembers and Veterans Law Forum Virtual Lunch on Thursday, February 11. Christopher will speak about the transition from servicemember to lawyer and what it means to be a veteran practicing law. The Veterans & Servicemembers Law Forum includes servicemember and veteran attorneys and law students, as well as those working to further pro bono and public service initiatives that support this population.
The forum works to spotlight legal needs, serve as a network for current and former servicemembers in the legal profession and their families, and advise the BBA’s Lawyer Referral Service on its Military & Veterans Legal Help Line. Over the course of the year, the forum hosts open meetings, meet & greet luncheons, and pro bono trainings in collaboration with local legal services providers serving military personnel and veterans.
