Monday, June 14, 2021 {ml-event-to} Wednesday, June 16, 2021

Join the ANS panel discussion on Blind Spots to Implementing Lessons Learned for New Nuclear Construction on Wednesday, June 16 at 4:30 pm. With the recent focus on decarbonizing the power generation industry, there is a renewed interest in the benefits of nuclear power generation and, with that, a focus on ensuring the successful development of new nuclear reactor projects.

During the panel discussion, you will hear about the key lessons learned from a review of successful projects and the foundations for success. The panelists will also discuss the following key blind spots that prevent implementing lessons learned:

  • Inadequate Experience with First-of-a-Kind Large Nuclear Projects
  • Owner Corporate Cultures and Successful Project Mindsets
  • Human Emotions, Personalities, and Leadership
  • Strategic and Tactical Considerations
