In response to a rapidly evolving electric grid, federal regulators are considering the first major transmission policy reform in a decade. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) recently issued an advanced notice of proposed rulemaking that seeks public comment on potential reforms to FERC's regional transmission planning, cost allocation, and generator interconnection policies.

This webinar will provide an overview of FERC's existing policies, and discuss key aspects of the potential reforms and further changes that can be anticipated in the coming months.
