IP Protection for Inventions that use Artificial Intelligence

In this presentation we will review various types of artificial intelligence (AI), including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, and how AI components are used in a variety of fields. We will also discuss intellectual property protection for innovation using AI, and the tradeoffs between trade secret and patent protection. Finally, we will review recent case law affecting AI patents and discuss patent strategies in the United States and Europe.
