02:00 PM - 03:15 PM BST

Join us for our Investigations Series, a program where our UK labor and employment team will share best practices to help employers develop strategies when receiving and handling workplace investigations, and discuss key legal considerations that may need to be addressed.

We will cover various key themes including conducting workplace investigations locally and globally, handling grievance and disciplinary proceedings, designing and implementing risk management strategies, and managing employment tribunal litigation.

This second webinar of the series will cover best practices for handling disciplinary and grievance issues. This session will be based on a hypothetical case study that we use for framing legal issues in a practical context. This same case study will be used for a mock employment tribunal hearing later in the series.

TOPICS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Dealing with overlapping grievance, disciplinary, and whistleblowing issues
  • The importance of clear disciplinary and grievance protocols
  • Grievance issues arising from the pandemic including discrimination, hybrid working issues, and staff management
  • Legal privilege: The importance of privilege and how it interfaces with other employment processes and procedures
  • Evidence collection: Privacy compliance requirements and complying with data subject access requests
