Reproductive Rights Forum: A Post-Dobbs Landscape

Please join Morgan Lewis and the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) for an intimate conversation around reproductive rights in the post-Dobbs landscape, followed by an opportunity to network with others in the Seattle area.

Our program will feature Health Care and Liberty Counsel at American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Washington Leah Rutman, Morgan Lewis partner Sharon Masling, and NAWL board member Carol Anderson, who will lead discussions about the impact of the Dobbs decision.

Leah will lead the discussion, “A Post-Roe Landscape: Understanding Dobbs and Charting a Path Forward.” Topics will include: 

• Overview of abortion rights and the intersectionality of racism and sexism
• Dobbs decision and legal implications
• Specific state laws and central issues around the country
• Implications and advocacy in Washington and nationally

Sharon will lead the discussion, “Navigating Reproductive Rights in Employment After Dobbs.” Topics will include: 

• State legal developments
• Travel and lodging benefits
• Workplace culture
• Data privacy
• Shareholder activism

Carol will lead the discussion, “Actions to Support Reproductive Justice.”
