Partner Giovanna Cinelli will speak at the American Conference Institute’s inaugural Advanced Forum on Global Export Controls. This two-day conference will cover the latest developments across the United States and foreign regulatory and enforcement landscapes.
Giovanna will participate in the panel “The Heightened Interplay of Export Controls and Economic Sanctions and the Evolution of Your Risk Assessment and Compliance Priorities," which will take place on February 29, 2024, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Panelists will use case study examples and audience polling to detect the greatest compliance program integration gray areas and take the audience through the evolution of their sanctions and export control compliance programs. They will also discuss risk assessments they have used, lessons they have learned, how to gain C-suite buy-in for staffing resources and upgraded tools, and other hallmarks of a best-in-class program to maintain compliance—all while maintaining supply due diligence.
