Marynell DeVaughn, of counsel in the International Trade and Economic Sanctions group, will present on the panel for “What Every White Collar Criminal lawyers Needs to know about Export Controls and Economic Sanctions” at the ABA’s 28th Annual National Institute on White Collar Crime conference in Miami.
The panel will discuss the federal regulations that control the conditions under which certain information, technologies, and commodities can be transmitted overseas to anyone, including U.S. citizens, or to foreign nationals on U.S. soil. Panelists will also consider global enforcement trends, as well as emerging issues, including how technology and big data are changing export enforcement.
