Litigation partner Nathan Hochman spoke before the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) in West Los Angeles. The program was geared toward cryptocurrencies, how they work, and how to approach relevant disclosures and tax issues.

Nathan’s presentation, titled “IRS and ICOs: Tax Implications for Cryptocurrency Participants,” discussed the tax guidelines and rules for reporting cryptocurrencies, the uncertainties that surround them, and best practices on how to handle them. With the experience of being the former head of the US Department of Justice’s Tax Division, Nathan drew a large crowd comprising of CPAs, attorneys, and other legal professionals.
