Commercial, Project Development, and Financing Issues with Petrochemical Projects

Wednesday, February 27, 2013
01:00 AM Eastern Standard Time

Please join Morgan Lewis for a one-hour webinar focusing on the commercial, project development, and financing issues associated with developing petrochemical projects in the United States.

We will discuss commercial issues relating to on-purpose projects designed to meet a specific demand as compared to projects designed to satisfy needs for which the petrochemicals will be diversely marketed. In addition, we will address price security and product security and how companies deal with risks associated with drops in product demand or increases in feedstock costs. Other topics will include fuel supply, offtake arrangements, permitting challenges, and construction/licensing issues that are typically encountered during the development stage of these projects, as well as project financing concerns. We also will discuss the availability of the master limited partnership structure for certain petrochemical production activities, and the potential tax and cost of capital benefits of the structure in the operational as well as the construction phase of the project.
