Effective Governance and Compliance Roundtable

Wednesday, January 23, 2019
08:00 AM - 10:30 AM Eastern Standard Time

Organizations are under increasing scrutiny regarding allegations of fraud. Fiscal year 2018 was a record-breaking year for the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s whistleblower program, as more and more individuals have been coming forward with allegations of impropriety.

It is critical for organizations to have processes in place to triage an allegation, investigate, remediate, evaluate, and then enhance their governance, risk management, compliance, and internal audit programs. Failure to conduct an appropriate investigation may lead to significant exposure and disruption to the organization.

In partnership with Baker Tilly, Litigation partners Meredith Auten and Zane Memeger will present on a panel to discuss current issues in compliance, board governance, corporate investigations, and risk management. The panel will be moderated by Matt Kelly of Radical Compliance.

CLE credit: CLE credit in PA, NJ (via reciprocity) and NY is currently pending approval.
