Export Reform: Are You Ready?

Please join us for a webinar that will outline what companies need to do to be ready for the October 15, 2013 implementation of the export reform which initially will move export control jurisdiction for a wide range of aircraft parts from the State Department (USML) to the U.S. Department of Commerce (CCL) (600-series) and create a new U.S. Munitions List Category XIX for gas turbines.

• Understanding the new process to ensure correct export jurisdiction and classification determinations
• Analyzing how the new definition of "specially designed" affects export jurisdiction and classification determinations
• Evaluating export licenses under the new rules, including transitioning from DDTC to BIS licenses
• Utilizing and transitioning from export license exemptions under the ITAR to export license exceptions under the EAR
