Fighting & Defeating Restrictive Covenants

Morgan Lewis partner Richard G. Rosenblatt will present on "Fighting & Defeating Restrictive Covenants," presented by the New Jersey Insitute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE).

Many employers ask prospective employees to sign a restrictive covenant and/or non-compete agreements. If the employer and employee part ways, these agreements can temporarily restrict the scope of the employee's search for new employment, and often the employee will seek to have the agreement invalidated.

This seminar will examine how to counsel employers on-boarding employees with restrictive covenants and employers who want to overcome such agreements.
