US President Donald Trump continues to build out his administration, and a new Chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission is expected to be confirmed soon by the US Senate. With all the change in Washington, it remains uncertain how shareholder activism will be impacted and whether the policies of the new Trump administration will foster a climate that is more friendly to shareholder activism, or less.

In this 90-minute webinar, Morgan Lewis partner and Shareholder Activism Defense Practice Leader Keith E. Gottfried will moderate a panel of investment banking, proxy solicitation, public relations, and corporate governance advisors, who collectively bring to the discussion extensive experience in the shareholder activism arena from multiple perspectives, to discuss how the new Trump administration and its policies could affect the climate for shareholder activism, the types of campaigns that activists look to pursue, and the companies and industries that activists would look to target.
