Import Issues in U.S. Government Contracting

February 27, 2014
01:00 PM - 02:00 PM

Please join Morgan Lewis for a webinar on Import Issues in U.S. Government Contracting, presented by our International Trade Practice.

When procuring products, governments have shown a preference for domestically produced goods. Please join us for a one-hour webinar to review the different regimes that may apply to government contracting, their statutory frameworks, and the differences between the restrictions imposed under each of the regimes.

This webinar is the second session of our three-part series focused on issues in imports and customs. Our panelists will discuss contractors’ obligations and liabilities as well as the available enforcement mechanisms. We will conclude with guidance on what pitfalls to avoid and best practices and procedures for compliance.
