Morgan Lewis partner Brendan Kalb spoke on the panel “Fund Investment Strategies Using Derivatives: Regulatory and Compliance Considerations,” at the Investment Company Institute’s Annual Mutual Funds and Investment Management Conference in Palm Desert.
The conference highlights included former SEC officials and other industry experts exploring the strengths of the Investment Company Act regulation as it turned 75 and examined how it might evolve in the future. Industry experts also discussed US and global trends in the regulation of payments to intermediaries and senior SEC officials discussed the SEC’s enforcement and compliance program.
