LeadershIP 2019

Tuesday, March 26, 2019

Antitrust Partner Will Tom will be participating as a speaker at the LeadershIP 2019 conference on the panel entitled “IP and Antitrust: Global Agency Dynamics.” This panel will reflect upon how the global agency dynamics at the intersection of IP & antitrust have evolved in the last few decades. What are the lessons learned and the way forward for global businesses?

The sixth annual LeadershIP conference will take place on March 26, 2019 in Washington DC. Over the years, LeadershIP has grown to be a high-quality and recognized convener of thought-leaders who discuss innovation and Intellectual Property policies. LeadershIP 2019 will continue to drive the debate around these issues.

The program for LeadershIP 2019 will begin with a morning keynote by Senator Thom Tillis, where he will address the current state of patent legislative reforms in the US Congress. In addition, USPTO Director Andrei Iancu and AAG Makan Delrahim will be featured in a Fireside Chat moderated by the Honorable Kathleen O'Malley, US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Here, they will further discuss the IP policy landscape and the future of the 2013 joint DOJ-USPTO policy statement.
