In today’s legal and regulatory environment, companies often face regulatory investigations that overlap with civil litigation. This program is designed to provide insight into how companies should navigate through matters where overlapping civil litigation and regulatory investigations exist or are threatened, and how companies should conduct internal investigations in these matters, whether the allegations stem from a government investigation, a civil suit, or an employee whistleblower claim. We also will discuss employment issues that may arise as the result of the investigation and with respect to whistleblowers.
