National Association Of Corporate Directors (NACD) New England Chapter - Shareholder Activism: Think Like An Activist - Are You Prepared?

Morgan Lewis partner and shareholder activism defense practice leader Keith E. Gottfried will be a featured speaker at the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) New England Chapter’s upcoming program “Shareholder Activism: Think Like an Activist - Are You Prepared?” to be held on April 9, 2019 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Keith will participate on a panel on shareholder activism moderated by Maureen T. Wolff, the chief executive officer of the investor relations and strategic communications firm Sharon Merrill Associates, and a national thought leader in strategic communications. The panel will also include Kathy Lane, a veteran of the board of directors of four public companies, including Armstrong Flooring Incorporated, Bob Evans Farms, Inc., and EarthLink Internet, and J. David Scheiner, the former chairman of the board of directors of Perry Ellis International, Inc. 

The focus of the program will be on the latest trends in shareholder activism and how public company directors can identify areas of vulnerability and proactively prepare for when an activist targets their company.
