Morgan Lewis intellectual property partner Ksenia Andreeva recently presented at the Annual IP Conference hosted by Pravo.ru, a major national research agency of the legal market in Russia.
Ksenia’s presentation, “Franchise Agreements: Recent Breakthrough Court Decisions,” explored Russian courts’ new approach to franchise issues, including the effects of franchisee’s actual use of trademarks where registration is lacking, scope of necessary warranties from franchisor, and grounds for termination of franchise agreements.
