Energy storage deployment is rapidly increasing as technology costs decline and new opportunities emerge, including California’s requirement of 1.3 gigawatts of installed energy storage by 2024. Utilities, developers, investors, and regulators are all seeking to understand—and shape—this evolving market as well as the integration of storage and renewable energy generation.

In this webinar, we will provide an overview of current technologies and the questions they raise.

Topics will include:

  • Who is installing energy storage technology, and why?
  • Can storage address the challenges of integrating significantly more intermittent resources like wind and solar into the energy mix?
  • What policies will support increasing storage deployment?
